With the video library complete, over 110 talks now available, I am now focussed on venue and speaker / workshop and writer suggestions but I need your help.
Venues: I do not want to have Zoom only events, part of the joy of live events is making new friends, building a community, learning from delegates, the energy a speaker gets from the crowd and vice versa and question and answers.
Educational events like ours are exempt from the "rule of six", so can theoretically go ahead. However, the problem is that I will not require my delegates to put their data at risk or put them at criminal liability with NHS track and trace, we already take down details when selling tickets. Whilst we will not judge those who choose to wear masks, most of our delegates consider that they are exempt from wearing them. These two issues sadly make traditional academic venues unavailable at this time.
Please let us know about any venue that you suggest I contact that would be sympathetic. I am willing to consider any UK location.
Speakers: I welcome any suggestions for speakers, covering a wide range of topics including wise traditions in food, farming and healing.
Writers: If you wish to write on these topics do get in touch because I can now publish articles on the website.
Novices can apply: I want to make this a gig format with a main act and support act. If you are passionate about these topics and can present but do not have substantial experience in public speaking, because for example your experience is primarily clinical or written or because your views are incompatible with normal mainstream organisations, etc. then do please get in touch. I want these events to introduce new thinkers to our receptive audiences alongside seasoned speakers.
