My name is Monica Fernandez, I live in Spain, I am chapter leader at Girona, and I just wanted to step forward and start the introductions forum.
I became interested in WAPF in 2008 as a result of looking for solutions to my PCOS. After a few months of reviewing the WAPF materials and overcoming some scepticism (especially over saturated fats and raw milk), something clicked in my mind and since then I have been convinced that the diet and principles behind the WAPF are the most solid and well backed among the craziness of diets and nutrition ideas out there.
I created my blog http://www.blogdisidente.com in 2013 to share some of these ideas in Spanish, along with regenerative agriculture related materials which I also love. There is a big lack of information in Spanish language and I wanted to contribute mainly through translations (I don’t have a nutrition or medical background so I prefer to let the experts speak). That year I also tranlsated the Healthy 4 Life booklet which is now available in Spanish as “Sano de por vida”.
After a couple of years collaborating with a regenerative agriculture organization in Spain, I am now in charge of http://www.lacarnedepasto.com, a platform which connects consumers with grassfed meat farmers.
I also have a personal project called Espai & Seny (www.espaiseny.cat), where we are teaching (on line and off line) about fermentation topics. Our goal is to be able to launch a small artisanal fermented vegetable operation, if we are able to move through all the goverment regulations.
Finally, I am collaborating with Ana Azcarate (another member of this forum and chapter leader in Madrid) with some translations for her editorial project “Diente de Leon”, where she is publishing a series of WAPF related books including Nourishing Traditions and Folks This Ain’t Normal.
I think that’s all… looking forward to hear from everybody else and to find ways to collaborate and grow the WAPF movement in Europe.

This is all fantastic. We have a lot of Spanish speakers on our Facebook Page. Many are in Mexico and America, but I would love you to pen a blog for us discussing all these things. Possible a series of blogs, that we can share with our followers at facebook.com/westonaprice
