My name is Monica Fernandez, I live in Spain, I am chapter leader at Girona, and I just wanted to step forward and start the introductions forum.
I became interested in WAPF in 2008 as a result of looking for solutions to my PCOS. After a few months of reviewing the WAPF materials and overcoming some scepticism (especially over saturated fats and raw milk), something clicked in my mind and since then I have been convinced that the diet and principles behind the WAPF are the most solid and well backed among the craziness of diets and nutrition ideas out there.
I created my blog http://www.blogdisidente.com in 2013 to share some of these ideas in Spanish, along with regenerative agriculture related materials which I also love. There is a big lack of information in Spanish language and I wanted to contribute mainly through translations (I don’t have a nutrition or medical background so I prefer to let the experts speak). That year I also tranlsated the Healthy 4 Life booklet which is now available in Spanish as “Sano de por vida”.
After a couple of years collaborating with a regenerative agriculture organization in Spain, I am now in charge of http://www.lacarnedepasto.com, a platform which connects consumers with grassfed meat farmers.
I also have a personal project called Espai & Seny (www.espaiseny.cat), where we are teaching (on line and off line) about fermentation topics. Our goal is to be able to launch a small artisanal fermented vegetable operation, if we are able to move through all the goverment regulations.
Finally, I am collaborating with Ana Azcarate (another member of this forum and chapter leader in Madrid) with some translations for her editorial project “Diente de Leon”, where she is publishing a series of WAPF related books including Nourishing Traditions and Folks This Ain’t Normal.
I think that’s all… looking forward to hear from everybody else and to find ways to collaborate and grow the WAPF movement in Europe.

This is all fantastic. We have a lot of Spanish speakers on our Facebook Page. Many are in Mexico and America, but I would love you to pen a blog for us discussing all these things. Possible a series of blogs, that we can share with our followers at facebook.com/westonaprice

Sonia here from The Cultured Cellar. Fantastic job Phil with the website. Monica you are doing a Stella job in Spain keep up the good work.
I shall be doing some workshops at the Bagnall Centre called Intestinal Kind Foods; for those interested I have copied the information below:
Sonia from The Cultured Cellar is now sharing her passion for food and teaching others to incorporate Old World lifestyles into their modern day life.
Driven by the desire to rescue their children from autism
She made the time to learn and incorporate the lost ways. Sonia spent her childhood travelling and lived in such countries as Saudi Arabia, Algeria, France and Italy which encouraged her love of food which she first acquired from her Algerian mother, giving her the unique ability to combine traditional foods, lifestyle and creating delicious moreish dishes.
Through this course individuals will be empowered with new skills, love and appreciation for the lost and very much necessary old ways. She shows you how to successfully migrate from standard western diet to nutritionally dense replacement foods that will impact you in both the short and long term.
All ingredients used will be organic and the water sourced from a spring.
